What is your Terms and Conditions?
There is Two Licenses, One is FREE "Basic License" and the Second is NOT FREE "Extended License" which coast you 3$ for each photo, take a look and see my terms, you should read them before you start using my pictures.

Are there free downloads available ?
Free downloads under my "Basic License" are available only for small watermarked JPG image "500 pixels x 333 pixels", High resolution images is available only with the Extended License, you can download the high resolution pictures after you buy the license.

What is your Free "Basic License" Terms and Conditions?
My main condition is you must acknowledge Photos8.com or Photos8.org as the photo source, If my photos are used on websites then a clickable link to www.photos8.org is required and mandatory "By Photos8.com" or "By Photos8.org" or "Courtesy of Sam Mugraby", the credit have to be included in readable type either near the photos, in the text or in the credits at the same page where my photos is used, Keep in mind with the Basic License that i allow a limit of 30 photos to be used in any one publication, web site, or product, If you purchase the Extended License no limits for photos use and you can download high resolution files and there is no requirement to acknowledge me or my site, any other questions you can hit me through the contact page.

What to do if i want to use your photos in my commercial work ?
You need to comply with my Terms and Conditions, my Extended License and my terms is very flexible and with it you can use my photos in almost any commercial use, I take copyright violations very seriously, contact me if you have any questions or requests or if anything is not clear to you.

How to download the photos? i can't find the download link ?
After checking out and a successful payment you will be emailed a link to download your digital photos, contact me if you have any questions or requests.

Can i print your photos on Posters or Greeting Card, etc. and sell them ?
Yes you can, with my extended license you can do this, My photos is allowed to be used for your commercial work, see the terms and the conditions, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I am an artist! and I read the terms and conditions for the extended license, but I want to confirm with you that I can reproduce your photographs in my artwork for re-sale?
Yes you can, with my extended license you can do use any of my photos for your commercial artwork for re-sale.

Can i use your photos for Educational purpses ?
Yes, you can use my photos for your Educational purpses (Schools, Classes, Projects, and Etc.), My main condition is you must acknowledge Photos8.com or Photos8.org as the photo source, if you purchase the Extended License you can download high resolution photos and there is no requirement to acknowledge me or my site.

I am building a (non-profit) web site, and i want to use some of your images under the (Free License), do i still have to give you credit and a link to your web site?
Credit and Link is required with the Free License this is my main condition, and this is the small "Thank You" that i ask for in exchange for my free photos, if you purchase the Extended License you can download high resolution photos and there is no requirement to acknowledge me or my site.

Can I alter your images with "Graphics Program" and use it or print it for my commercial work ?
Yes you can, as long you buy the extended license you can work with my images in any graphics way.

Can I use your photos in Ebooks or printed Books?
With the extended license you can use any of my photos in ebooks or printed books.

How you treat copyright infringements ?
As a photographer, I take copyright violation very seriously and I will aggressively search for, and will find violators of my copyright, If any of my images are used without complying with my terms and conditions or in some cases without my permission i will take all necessary legal actions against you and i will sue you for copyright infringement, Best to buy the rights you need, It'll cost you a lot less in the long run, There can even be criminal penalties! A copyright infringement will cost you alot of money up to an unlimited cieling (depending on usage). If you decide not to settle out of court keep in mind that the law is on the photographer's side. You will be flying (or hiring) attorneys where the photographer resides, and all the photographer has to show is that your company used the photo without a proper license. Intent or foreknowledge of copyright status does not have to proven.

What if i use your free photos without any credit ? What are the penalties for illegally using a photo with no license or without giving the proper credit?
I will take all necessary legal actions against you and i will sue you for copyright infringement, This is serious and should be taken serious, I sued people and companies in many countires including (USA, Canada, Frane, UK, Poland, Germany, Russia, Japan, India, UAE, Israel, South Africa, Egypt, Brasil, and the list goes on and on).

Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned.

Do you offer Discounts for buying a big number of photos?
I appreciate the fact you are choosing to buy a big number of my photos for your work, I am selling my photos with crazy discount :) You can see that my images is very cheap, and you can't find cheaper images with a extened license like mine, so 3$ per image that you can work with commercially almost with no restriction is something you can't easily find with other photographers or other stock photos sites, i really work hard on my photos and 3$ for a photo is a very good deal in this business.

Why, Who, How, What Camera you use ?
I use Canon EOS SLR camera, information about my Photography, Camera, Equipment and Gear.

How Often you Update and Upload new photos ?
New photos are updated and added on Daily bases, I add new photos everyday.

I am getting confused with DPI and what printshops asking from me ?
I keep getting emails from poor folk who say that their print shop or graphics designer keep asking for photos with specific size and dpi, to understand what is is dpi please read this, DPI and Photos.

I have a Wallpapers Site, App, Publication, and i want to use your photos ?
No you can't, You may NOT share the photos in wallpapers, backgrounds, stock photos sites.

Can i remove your Photos8.com watermark or crop your photo ?
You can crop and remove my "Photos8.com" watermark from the photos, If you are unable to do it, hit me through the contact page.

Can you give me Legal Advice for my commercial project ??
I'm not a lawyer. i only take pictures, and i put them in my site and they are free to use, again .. If the picture is free, but contains trademarks, art work, paintings, other copyrighted items, or people, then others may have rights that might be actionable. But probably not, and such things should be obvious. And if you are using these pictures commercially you really should have some legal savvy beyond anything I might be able to add. Don't ask me for legal advice. I won't give it. you should assume no model release was obtained. And pictures featuring products or property should be used with care. Some of the images here feature members of the public.

Just one more question about using a pictures of art work or paint ?
Copyright laws are not easy about paintings or artwork, I am a photographer, i take photos, so I took a picture of the Paint or the Artwork, and the picture only is free to use, but the artwork or paint itself might be copyrighted. so sources, places or names of the painters or artists is something that i don't have and i can't give. my advice is to be careful when using paintings and artworks images in commercial use.

What about using People Pictures ?
I respect the intellectual property of others, and so should you. Please don't misuse images of others that you find here. Clearly I can't grant you the right to use images of people without their permission. Fair use is good, but so is privacy and accountability. No model release was obtained, for photos that has identifiable people on it, I cannot guarantee that you will be able to use the Image for any purpose you like. I do not represent or make warranties whatsoever as to the legality or validity of it. Furthermore, certain Images may be subject to additional copyrights, people, property rights, trademarks, logos etc. and may require the consent of a third party or the license of these rights. Photos8.com does not represent or make any warranties that it owns or licenses any of the mentioned, nor does it grant them. It's your sole responsibility to make sure that You have all the necessary rights, consents and licenses for the use of the Image.

What about Money and banknotes pictures, is the images violates U.S. Federal law because it can be reproduced and possible used for illict purposes because of it's high quality ?
No it doesn't because these images don't have the watermark, which all sensible businesspeople would check for, to make it look like an official bill. also putting a label such as "sample" or "specimen" isn't a requirement. Important 3/4 & 1-1/2 U.S. Secret Service money illustration rules : As listed by the United States Secret Service at money illustrations, the Counterfeit Detection Act of 1992, Public Law 102-550, in Section 411 of Title 31 of the Code of Federal Regulations (31 CFR 411), permits color illustrations of U.S. currency provided: The illustration is of a size less than three-fourths or more than one and one-half, in linear dimension, of each part of the item illustrated; The illustration is one-sided; and All negatives, plates, positives, digitized storage medium, graphic files, magnetic medium, optical storage devices, and any other thing used in the making of the illustration that contain an image of the illustration or any part thereof are destroyed and/or deleted or erased after their final use.

What about Graffiti pictures, are they copyrighted by the artist ?
Graffiti is not protected by law, graffiti is public domain art, and there is no copyrights about it, If graffiti artist don't want their graffiti work photographed, they shouldn't do it outside on building and public properties walls, and if a Photographer taking pics of architecture, ruins, wall owns the copyright to that image and all derivatives of that image. An artist that knowingly defaces public property has placed a piece of art in the public domain and therefore, just as an individual has the right to capture images in the public domain, then an individual has the right to capture defaced property as if it were that same public domain. No caveat exists for the protection or copyright of murals or graffitti since as you noted, The photographer, therefore, whom captures the image maintains a basic copyright and all further copyright of altered images.

There is a violates of copyrights, what to do ?
If you are shown in a photo, or feel a photo violates your copyrights, and object to it being available on the Internet, please contact me and the image will be removed.

Are all the photos on Photos8.org yours, and did you took all of the pictures here?
Yes, this is my site, and 100% of the pictures here taken by me.

I am still using your old Photos8.com what is Terms and Conditions?
Nothign changed for my old images license, the license still the same "Attribution and Credit is required", Anyone still using the photos for free from the old Photos8.com have to apply with my Basic License.
